1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve performance, and provide information to website operators. Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), cookies that are linked to an identified or identifiable individual constitute personal information and are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Clerk (our authentication provider) sets its own cookies to manage authentication state. These are governed by Clerk's Privacy Policy. Stripe (our payment processor) may set cookies during the checkout process, governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy (Australia). We do not use advertising networks or behavioural tracking third parties.

4. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to: view cookies that have been set and delete individual cookies; block third-party cookies; block all cookies from specific sites; or block all cookies from being set.

Note: Blocking essential cookies (particularly Clerk session cookies) will prevent you from logging in and using the authenticated features of the Service.

5. Local Storage

In addition to cookies, we may use browser localStorage to store non-sensitive application state (such as current quiz question index or timer state). This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
